CREATE A VISION
Dream the dream (literally!)
Focus on what is important to you and what is going to truly make you happy.
A lot of times we may overthink our dreams in the fear that our goals may be too “big.”
Today, however, I want you to dream big and create that vision for yourself of what will truly make you feel whole, accomplished, and most happy.
MAKE IT ACTIONABLE
Take your vision and clearly define it, creating a specific phrase for vision. Something concrete, realistic, and clearly defined. This will make it actionable.
Furthermore, it is important to set an achievable timeframe. At the end of the day, this will result in maximum impact.
Lastly, it is important to define your success criteria; what will success look like for you if you achieve this goal?
Having a method for tracking your goal progress is key.
I use a spreadsheet that has enabled me to strategize for both professional and personal growth.
Successful, productive, goal documentation and tracking will enable you to increase your goal setting effectiveness.
As a result, you will have an easy way to make your goal setting visual, see your timeframe and where you are in accordance with your timeframe; all which will give you tools to use to accomplish your goals!
