Year-round, but especially during the summer months, I love to experiment with ways to hydrate my body. One of my all time favorite beverages (other than these infused water recipes) is coconut water. Something about coconut water makes my body feel instantly hydrated and refreshed. Coconut water has also been claimed to reduce sodium while adding potassium into our diets.
One thing I have learned however, is that my love of coconut water can be a bit pricey. To save money and stretch my coconut water (without taking away from flavor) I love to use this recipe below. If I am only focused on hydration or if I will be outside for an extended period of time, sometimes I will add an extra cup or two of filtered water to stretch this out a little longer.
